Blotanist

Just signed up with Blotanist. Be the first one to post a comment to my blog! I'll have some interesting stuff/pics, etc. from years of gardening experience and pure joy of gardening. I garden in the cold climate here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where we manage to get tomatoes and corn to ripen with a few short season gardening tips and tricks. Roses for the north? You betcha! My Christian Dior red long stem roses from Gurney's are so pretty right now. How about you? What are you up to? Need some tips? I don't know everything but I've got plenty of years of teaching horticulture and gardening here in the north. Plus, I like to hear from folks.

Drop into my blog or plot on the Blotanical site and say hello some time - and if you have any questions about how Blotanical works, do ask. It can be a bit confusing at first!

Nice visiting your blog. If you have an opportunity to post a picture of your greenhouse, I'd love to see it. We're hopefully going to build a greenhouse sometime in the next few months and I'm scouting for ideas!

Welcome to Blotanical! You will enjoy the friendly gardeners you meet, that's for certain! I hope you enjoy visiting the blogs and making new friends at Blotanical! Can't wait to read more from you -- your experiences and expertise will be so helpful.

I also have a greenhouse, never went the route of a hoop house though. I'm in Virginia so we don't need tricks to grow 'maters unless you grow them in the greenhouse (which we have done).
